Registered Nurse - Surgical Rehab

Position Overview

• Provides direct nursing care in an orthopedic, bariatric, and neurosurgical unit.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans, assesses patient conditions, and communicates updates.
• Serves as a primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care.
• Notes and executes physician and nursing orders.
• Coordinates discharge planning with healthcare team members.

• Current RN license or eligibility in Alabama.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire, accepted from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.

• Full-time night shift (7 pm to 7 am).
• Work location:
  
  UAB St. Vincent's East.
