Title - Tutor - Early College Program (CHS) (SY25-26)
SALARY: $22 - 35/hr. (Based on licensure and Degree level)
GENERAL DUTIES:
* Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring and homework support for Chelsea High School Early College students
* Provide academic support for Early College students in designated subjects
* Maintain accurate attendance records for tutoring sessions
* Foster a positive and productive learning environment
* Offer guidance on study-skills, time management and academic expectations in a college setting
* Communicate with Early College staff and counselors as needed
* Assist students with understanding and completing college coursework
* Collaborate with other tutors and staff to ensure student success
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Enrolled in a Associates or Bachelors Degree Program or
* Graduate of 2 year or 4 year college or
* Licensed teacher; will consider non- licensed professions with experience.
* Minimum required - High School Graduate
* U.S. Citizen or Employment Authorization
HOURS:
* Up to 20 hours a week. Dates and times to be coordinated with the Early College Administrator
* 12:30-3:30 (minimum 2 days a week, maximum 5 days a week
* Additional college access activities/Field Trips
