Therapeutic Elementary Teacher (26/27 School Year) - Cambridge

We are hiring an Elementary Special Education Teacher to educate students who need the behavioral and emotional support that Shore provides in small, structured classrooms in Cambridge.
- Provide specialized instruction to address the instructional goals and objectives contained within each student’s IEP while addressing grade level content standards.
- Utilize positive reinforcement, behavior modification, and classroom routines to shape positive behaviors and create an inclusive safe environment where learning can occur both academically and socially/emotionally.
Current DESE licensure in Elementary Education and/or Moderate Disabilities for grades 1-6 is required, although candidates who are close to licensure or who are eligible for this particular license will be considered. Salary range: $63,696.52-$, commensurate with experience and education.

Salary: $63,696.50 to $123,531 Per Year
Teachers at Shore participate in the Massachusetts Teacher Retirement System and enjoy generous benefits, competitive salaries, and small class sizes with a lot of support. All school staff who may be expected to manage behavior must obtain and maintain certification in Shore's approved behavioral safety training program (Safety Care or equivalent).
