- Support the planning, organization, and execution of engaging activities and enrichment programs for all residents, including those with dementia and Alzheimer’s, and provide personalized 1:1 visits for residents who prefer in-apartment interaction.
- Encourage, motivate, and escort residents to activities, utilizing technology to enhance their participation and overall experience.
- Perform administrative tasks such as initial resident engagement surveys, and maintain professional communication with residents’ families and staff.
- Operate the community van for recreational outings, assisting residents with safe transfers, and complete additional duties as directed by the Activity Director.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an assisted living or skilled nursing facility
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Publisher, Outlook, and Excel
- Must meet company criteria to become an approved driver of the facility van
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds while performing job duties
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English
- Long term care activities experience preferred
