Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for creating a safe and well-maintained environment for our guests and team members? The Holiday Inn Chelsea, a Colwen Hotels Property, is seeking a hands-on, Hotel Maintenance Supervisor to lead our property’s maintenance operations.

This position is offering a $500 Hiring Bonus, subject to applicable tax with holdings, to be paid out after 3 months of employment!

What You’ll Do:

• Lead & Mentor: Supervise and train a dedicated team of maintenance technicians to keep our hotel in top shape.
• Collaborate & Solve: Oversee daily maintenance, repairs, and inspections of essential systems—HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety equipment to ensure seamless operations.
• Drive Excellence: Take charge of the proactive preventative maintenance program to delight our guests and protect our assets.
• Partnerships: Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and inspectors to uphold the highest quality and safety standards.
• Manage: Keep track of departmental expenses and oversee vendor agreements.
• Roll Up Your Sleeves: Troubleshoot issues, resolve malfunctions, and jump in and work side by side with your team to get the job done right.

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior hotel engineering experience or related field preferred.
• A leader who leads by example, communicates clearly, and builds trust within your team.
• Knowledge of fire protection, life safety systems, refrigeration, and kitchen equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm—and effective—under pressure.
• 3+ years in a maintenance role, with a desire to take on greater responsibility.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.
• Flexibility to work rotating schedules, including weekends and holidays.
