Material Handler Job Chelsea area,Massachusetts USA,Manufacturing / Production

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Material Handler for a prominent client of ours. This position is in Chelsea, MA 02150. Details of the position are as follows:

Job Description:

Pay: $23.00/hr to Start!!
6-month assignment with the possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm (ONSITE)
Position will be mainly responsible for supporting the movement, handling, and storage of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods in a cGMP manufacturing environment, while performing basic inventory tasks and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse.
Position will also be responsible for safely operating material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, receiving and inspecting incoming materials for accuracy and damage, and completing documentation and data entry within inventory systems (ERP).
Additional responsibilities include picking, staging, and delivering materials to internal teams, assisting with packaging and shipment preparation, following company policies, SOPs, and cGMP requirements, and supporting team operations as needed.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent is Required!!
Associate's Degree is Preferred!!
2+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is Required!!
Experience with ERP systems
or
Microsoft Office is Required!!
Forklift or similar material handling equipment experience is Required!!
Valid forklift license or similar material handling equipment license is Preferred!!
Experience in a GMP, FDA-regulated, biotechnology environment is Preferred!!
Experience with inventory cycle counts and knowledge of lean manufacturing practices (Kan Ban, JIT, FEFO) is Preferred!!
