Pharmaceutical Technician II
The Boston-area facility is Catalent's global Center of Excellence for spray dry dispersion and Dry Powder Inhaler (DPI) capsule manufacture and packaging. The site features inhaled powder spray drying, as well as multiple commercial scale lines for capsule filling and blister packaging, with potent filling capacity for up to 100 million capsules annually. On-site spray dryers include best-in-class GEA Niro SD1, SD4 and SD7, the latter being the largest CGMP unit of its kind for DPI in North America.
With clinical- to commercial-scale spray drying and manufacturing, paired with inhalation development expertise out of our Morrisville/RTP, NC site, the Catalent network can help bring your inhaled molecule from any point in development through product launch and beyond.
We have an opportunity for a Pharmaceutical Technician II to join our team. In this role, you will independently execute GMP manufacturing unit operations and support troubleshooting across multiple areas. The focus is on reliable execution and identifying issues promptly. This position offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment where precision and quality are essential.
Shift: 2/2/3 Work Schedule - 6:00am to 6:00pm
Location:
Chelsea, MA 100% Onsite
- Execute GMP manufacturing operations independently across multiple unit operations such as spray drying, blending, encapsulation, and packaging
- Adjust equipment within defined process limits
- Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and process deviations
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation;
Coordinate material handling and staging activities - Assist in deviation investigations
- Identify and recommend process improvements;
Interface with Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Engineering as needed - Perform all other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of GMP experience
- Working knowledge of GMP
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed
Pay
The anticipated hourly rate for this position in MA is $25.00 – $29.00 Plus Bonus. The final hourly rate offered to a successful candidate may vary, and will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to: the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, skillset, education, business needs, etc.
