As a Plant Equipment Technician, you will serve as a vital member of our operations team, ensuring the continuous reliability and performance of our industrial machinery. You will leverage your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced production environment.

You will leverage your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to minimize downtime and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced production environment.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules to maximize equipment uptime and longevity.
- Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues to restore production flow rapidly.
- Perform precision fabrication and repairs using welding, machining, and various shop tools.
- Manage maintenance workflows and documentation through our digital CMMS platform to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Interpret technical schematics and blueprints to facilitate accurate equipment installations and overhauls.
- Uphold rigorous food safety standards and GMP compliance to ensure product integrity.
- Implement strict safety protocols, including LOTO procedures, to maintain a secure work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven mechanical aptitude with a strong background in industrial troubleshooting.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 60 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals and electrical diagrams.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Technical certification or specialized trade school education.
- Direct experience working within food manufacturing or high-volume production facilities.
- Familiarity with HACCP principles and quality control documentation.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems and industrial electrical controls.
