Quality Inspector

Job Description

• Inspect raw packaging materials for performance and quality, examining closely for defects and imperfections per SOP.
• Test raw packaging materials for performance and quality, examining closely for defects and imperfections per SOP.
• Inspect packaging during production process for performance per SOP.
• Inspect finished packages prior to shipment for quality.
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices are adhered to during all inspections.
• Prepare and ship product samples.
• Perform all other duties as directed.

• Quality Control experience preferably in food or pharmaceuticals industry desired.
• Plastics background highly desired.
• Able to read and write the English language proficiently. Bilingual desired.
• Able to use trade specific measuring devices.
• Self‑motivated, works with minimal supervision.
• Able to perform Quality Lead or Technician duties during absences.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong organization skills.
• Punctuality and hard working.
• Good communication skills with others.
• Computer skills desired.
• Able to stand, stoop or bend for long periods of time.
• Able to work in a cold, loud environment for long periods of time.
• Able to work various shifts as needed.
• Able to work overtime when needed.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.

Salary: $16/hr the company offers great health benefits.

Work hours:

4-day work week, Wednesday - Saturday.
