Eurofins Expert Services Oy is part of the international Eurofins Group. We offer comprehensive expert, certification, testing, and inspection services. We employ over 100 experts from various fields. Our Finnish office is located in Espoo.

We are looking for a dedicated laboratory professional for our chemistry lab in Otaniemi, Espoo, for Eurofins Expert Service. The temporary position is for two years and starts as per agreement. In our lab, we analyze a wide range of material samples related to product compliance testing, quality control, and problem-solving. Our clientele includes manufacturers of construction materials, packaging, and pharmaceuticals.

The role of a lab technician is to perform standard chemical analyses. Duties include sample pre-treatment, instrument maintenance, technical work with equipment, and other general lab tasks. With experience, you will have the opportunity to learn how to use various analytical instruments and perform more complex analyses independently. The job roles are diverse, and daily work is done together with the team.

Qualifications:

We require basic education in the laboratory field (e.g., laboratory technician). You should be careful, precise, and above all, eager to learn new things. The position is well suited for someone at the beginning of their career.

To succeed in this role, you need IT skills and proficiency in Finnish and English. Previous experience in the field and knowledge of the testing laboratory's quality management system requirements are advantageous. Our lab is accredited according to the SFS-EN ISO 17025 standard and has a FIMEA approved contract laboratory agreement.
