Job Summary
The Screener will be responsible for asking visitors COVID‑19 screening questions as provided by the site and performing temperature checks on visitors. The Screener will also assist with guest inquiries, directions, and initial questions regarding the facility or services.
Compensation & ScheduleHourly base pay: $18 per hour.
Work Schedule:
12:00‑4:30pm, Monday‑Friday (part‑time).

Essential Functions- Maintain a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, patients, co‑workers and clients.
- Greet guests/patients professionally and friendly.
- Ask scripted screening questions politely and professionally.
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to assist others.
- Monitor and respond to emergencies on a priority basis.
- Provide guests/patients with information about outlets, meeting rooms and/or amenities, and main attractions in the area.
- Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
- Deliver messages, items and/or amenities as requested.
- Report all accidents and incidents observed on shift immediately.
- Use only equipment trained to use and operate all equipment safely.
- Be knowledgeable of hospital disaster codes and response plans and follow client standard operating procedures.
- Education: High school diploma or GED.
- Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Pass a criminal background and drug screen.
- Experience: One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of equipment including telephones, codes and alarms, two‑way radios, disaster phone, fire panel and surveillance system.
- Skills: Ability to read, speak and write standard English; comprehend simple instructions; write simple correspondence; understand 24‑hour and military time; perform general typing; prioritize tasks and remain calm in stressful situations.
Regularly required to talk or hear. Frequently required to sit or stand for extended periods, run, walk, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Requires use of vision, lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally or 25 pounds frequently, and >10 pounds constantly. Majority of work performed in climate‑controlled environment with occasional exposure to inclement weather.
TravelUp to 5% travel may be required.
