Returns Driver

• Collect, load, transport, and deliver items to customers or businesses in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Take and follow directions from dispatcher, adhere to assigned routes and time schedules, and use navigation apps or alternative routes to deliver packages on time.
• Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with operations at customers’ places of business.
• Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle complaints and concerns from customers.
• Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Accept payments, prepare reports including invoices and return forms, and reconcile debt and credit for deliveries.
• When applicable, complete daily maintenance checks on the company delivery vehicle and notify manager of any issues.
• Assist with other store and warehouse duties such as stocking and parts pulling as assigned.
• Ensure timely and accurate collection of return ordered items from customers, following assigned routes and schedules, and ensuring orders are packed correctly for safe return to the correct warehouse.
• Communicate politely, promptly, and professionally to provide an excellent client experience, ensuring safety and compliance throughout the delivery process.

• Current, valid driver’s license.
• Must meet company insurance requirements; drivers must be 21 years old or older.
• Current valid automobile insurance with your name on the policy.
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds; for Auto Body Parts Collision Drivers, able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Prolonged sitting ability.

• Manage, track, and account for money transactions; reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
• Utilize a tablet and/or mobile device for navigation, route optimization, tracking, and customer interface/signature capture.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
• Follow directions and work well within a team.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime as needed.
• Previous delivery driving experience is a plus.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Safeguard and transfer cash or other assets.
• Meet all of the above minimum requirements and skills/abilities to be eligible to drive for Parts Authority.
