Position: Operator Couple / Managing Couple
The Mill Inn is a quintessential Cotswold riverside village pub, beautifully situated in the heart of Withington, just ten minutes from Cheltenham. The pub has stood for centuries and retains a wealth of traditional character, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for both locals and visitors.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and hands-on management team to take ownership of a truly traditional Cotswold pub. We are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, takes pride in creating a warm and welcoming environment and can build strong relationships with the local community.
With its historic character, riverside garden, cosy interiors, open fires and attractive Cotswold village setting, The Mill offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious couple to develop a successful and much-loved destination pub.

Key Responsibilities:

Full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the pub.
Creating a warm, welcoming and well-managed environment for customers.
Leading and motivating staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Managing food service operations where applicable and ensuring consistently high standards are maintained.
Upholding brewery policies, standards and values.
Promoting and maintaining the quality of Samuel Smith's beers and ales.
Basic financial administration, stock control and cellar management.
Ensuring the pubs are maintained to a high standard.
Building strong relationships within the local community and encouraging repeat business.

About You:

Previous experience managing a pub, restaurant or similar hospitality business .
Strong leadership, organisational and customer service skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Knowledge of food service operations is advantageous.
A practical, hands-on approach to managing a hospitality business.
A genuine passion for traditional pubs and delivering great customer experiences.
Willingness to live on-site in the accommodation provided.

Salary of £34,000 - 37,000 per person.
