The Circus Bar is a distinctive and characterful pub in the heart of Montpellier, Cheltenham , one of the town's best-known areas. The pub occupies a prime position surrounded by independent shops, bars, restaurants and the attractions of central Cheltenham.
The Circus Bar combines tradition with the atmosphere of a relaxed wine-bar-style venue. It offers a range of Samuel Smith beers and other drinks, together with lunchtime food, toasted sandwiches and bar snacks. The pub is known for providing a quieter, conversational style of pub experience, making it quite different from others in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
Full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the bar and food.
Creating a warm, welcoming and well-managed environment for customers.
Leading and motivating staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Managing food service operations where applicable and ensuring consistently high standards are maintained.
Upholding brewery policies, standards and values.
Promoting and maintaining the quality of Samuel Smith's beers and ales.
Basic financial administration, stock control and cellar management.
Ensuring the pubs are maintained to a high standard.
Building strong relationships within the local community and encouraging repeat business.
About You:
Previous experience managing a bar/pub, restaurant or similar hospitality business .
Experience of food service operations is advantageous.
Strong leadership, organisational and customer service skills.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
A practical, hands-on approach to managing a hospitality business.
A genuine passion for traditional pubs and delivering great customer experiences.
Willingness to live on-site in the accommodation provided.

Salary of £34,000 - 37,000 per person.
