Passive Fire Protection Operative

Good afternoon,

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Passive Fire Protection Operative to join a well-established and successful Planned Capital (Refurbishment) works business based in Cheltenham.

The Role

You will be responsible for undertaking fire risk assessment remedial works across residential and commercial properties. This includes fire stopping (breach and penetration sealing) and the installation of cavity barriers. The role suits someone who is confident working independently, with the ability to train and mentor others, and who is keen to progress into a Working Foreperson position.

Health and Safety is paramount, and you will be expected to maintain best practice standards at all times while working closely with the FRA team to deliver an expanding programme for key clients.

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience in fire stopping (essential)

* NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection preferred

* Membership of FIRAS, IFC, BM TRADA or similar (desirable)

* Ability to work professionally in varied environments, including confined spaces and occupied social housing

* Full UK driving licence (essential)
