A well-established and growing building maintenance contractor is looking for a skilled Roofer to join their team working on social housing properties across Cheltenham and surrounding areas.

You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of roofing repairs and maintenance works within occupied social housing properties. The role requires strong technical ability, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include:

* Diagnosing roofing faults and carrying out effective repairs

* Working on pitched and flat roofing systems

* Tile and slate replacement

* Felt, GRP, and other flat roofing repairs

* Guttering, fascia, and soffit repairs/replacements

* Ensuring all works are completed to a high standard

* Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations

* Communicating professionally with tenants and colleagues

About You

* Proven experience as a roofer (social housing experience desirable)

* Strong knowledge of pitched and flat roofing systems

* Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively

* Good problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication and customer service skills

* Full UK driving licence

* Relevant roofing qualifications or NVQ (preferred)
