We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Service Technician to join our highly respected independent dealership and service centre in Cheltenham. Pay & Top Benefits- Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year basic (Tailored directly to your hands-on experience and technical skill level).

WhatYou’ll Be Doing
As a vital member of our Cheltenham technical team, you will:
- Carry out routine servicing
, general maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs across a range of vehicles. - Use modern diagnostic tools to efficiently identify and resolve technical and electrical faults.
- Maintain manufacturer service procedures to ensure high-quality "first-time fix" results and high workshop productivity.
- Collaborate closely with a skilled team to uphold our strong reputation for customer trust and workshop excellence.
- Qualifications &
Experience:
Proven track record working as a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or Service Specialist in a professional workshop setting. NVQ/IMI Level 2 or Level 3 preferred, though time-served technical experience is also considered. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it). - Technical Skill: Strong knowledge of general vehicle servicing, diagnostics, and mechanical repair; experience with premium or specialist vehicles is a plus.
- Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential.
An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required. - Attributes: A positive, reliable professional with high attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Our facility is based in Cheltenham and is ideally situated for a fast, straightforward daily commute for candidates travelling from Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Cirencester, Winchcombe, Evesham, and surrounding Gloucestershire areas.
