We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Service Technician to join our highly respected independent dealership and service centre in Cheltenham. The Rewards
  • Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per year basic (Tailored directly to your hands-on experience and technical skill level).
  • Guaranteed Weekends Off: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00—enjoy stable daytime hours with strictly zero weekend shifts required.

Your Role

As a vital member of our Cheltenham technical team, you will:

  • Carry out routine servicing
    , general maintenance, and complex mechanical repairs across a range of vehicles.
  • Use modern diagnostic tools to systematically identify and resolve technical and electrical faults.
  • Maintain service procedures to ensure high-quality "first-time fix" results and strong workshop productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with a skilled team to uphold our strong reputation for customer trust and workshop excellence.
What You Need
  • Qualifications &

    Experience:

    NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / time-served equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair. Proven track record working in a professional workshop setting. F-Gas certification is preferred (or an interest in obtaining it).
  • Licensing: Full UK driving licence is essential.
    An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
  • Equipment & Mindset: Must possess your own hand tools. Positive, reliable professional with strong diagnostic knowledge, high attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.

Our facility is based in Cheltenham and is ideally situated for a fast, straightforward daily commute for candidates travelling from Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Stroud, Cirencester, Winchcombe, Evesham, and surrounding Gloucestershire areas.
