Position Summary:
Sea Mar Community Health Centers is looking for a part-time Assistant Property Manager for its affordable housing property located in Cheney, WA. The properties consist of 40 HUD subsidized housing units.
The Assistant Property Manager, under the direction of the Property Manager, is responsible for assisting the with the day-to-day management of assigned properties and ensuring that the properties follow operational and regulatory standards. This includes coordinating fiscal operations, soliciting and recording tenant information, ensuring completion of site-level property management activities with site-level staff, and completion of work-related directives given by supervisor.
The Assistant Property Manager’s essential duties are:
Administration:
· Assists the Property Manager with property management tasks.
· Monitors Waitlist.
· Receive and inputs tenancy applications into property management software.
· Assists with upkeep of tenants’ files.
· Assists with collection and posting of rents.
· Prepares annual tenant certifications.
· Prepares tenant Intermediate Reviews.
· Coordinate with vendors for property management tasks.
· Prepare purchase orders for facility materials and supplies.
· Assists with facilitating police and/or incident reports in regard to tenants.
· Prepares EIV reports with HUD
· Other duties as assigned.
Maintenance:
· Receive maintenance requests from tenants.
· Prepare work orders.
· Coordinate minor tasks between tenant, property manager, and housekeeping/maintenance personnel.
· Prepare maintenance requests for tasks or projects that are too large or outside of expertise of site level staff.
· Other duties as assigned.
