Warehouse Associate

SSP, supporting Smiths Detection's Food & Beverage Operations, is seeking a Warehouse Associate for our Warehouse & Manufacturing department. You will receive, inspect, and store materials, accurately pick and pack orders, and stage products for production and shipment. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining inventory accuracy in warehouse systems, and upholding strict safety and food-handling standards. You'll work closely with production teams in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment that supports global safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and materials
• Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for production and outbound shipments
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely
• Maintain inventory accuracy using warehouse management or ERP systems
• Follow food safety, handling, and cleanliness standards in storage areas
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper documentation and labeling
• Perform cycle counts and assist with regular inventory audits
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse work area
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to meet schedule requirements
• Follow all company safety policies and use required PPE
