Legal Associate

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, redline, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including:
Master Service Agreements (MSAs)
Statements of Work (SOWs)
Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
Software License Agreements
SaaS Agreements and Vendor Contracts
Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws and internal policies.
Provide legal support for business transactions, client engagements, and cross-functional operations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Delivery, Compliance) to manage contractual risks and close deals efficiently.
Assist in contract lifecycle management and maintaining the legal contract repository.
Support due diligence, legal research, and regulatory compliance initiatives relevant to the IT/Tech sector.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Minimum of 1 years' post-qualification experience in a corporate legal department or law firm, preferably supporting IT/Technology clients.
Strong understanding of commercial laws, data privacy regulations, and IP-related issues in contracts.
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously with attention to detail.

Preferred

Skills:

Exposure to international contracting (India/US/UAE jurisdictions).
Familiarity with tools like Zoho Contracts or other CLM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proactive, solution-oriented, and team player.
