Role Objective
To Lead the organization level strategic and operational Learning & Development (L&D) function across multiple manufacturing locations in India, driving organizational capability, leadership development, and talent readiness. The role will spearhead the creation and execution of  Management Development Centers (MDCs) ,  Assessment Centers , and  Capability Building Frameworks  aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Design and implement a  pan-India L&D strategy  aligned with business transformation and growth.
Establish and operationalize  Management Development Centres  and  Assessment Centres  for leadership pipeline development.
Drive  organizational capability building  across technical, behavioural, and leadership domains.
Talent & Leadership Development
Develop and execute  succession planning frameworks  and  high-potential talent programs .
Create  customized learning journeys  for different employee segments (shop floor to senior leadership).
Lead  executive coaching , mentoring, and career pathing initiatives.
Learning Infrastructure & Innovation
Integrate  digital learning platforms  (LMS, LXPs, mobile learning) across locations.
Promote  blended learning models  including e-learning, workshops, simulations, and on-the-job training.
Leverage  AI and analytics  for learning impact measurement and personalization.
Stakeholder & Change Management
Collaborate with plant heads, functional leaders, and HRBPs to identify learning needs and deploy solutions.
Act as a  change agent  for cultural transformation and continuous learning.
Manage external partnerships with universities, consultants, and tech providers.
Governance & ROI
Define and manage the  L&D budget , ensuring cost-effective delivery and measurable ROI.
Establish KPIs for learning effectiveness and report outcomes to senior leadership.
Ensure compliance with statutory and industry-specific training mandates.

Desired Profile
Qualifications
MSW/MBA / PGDM in HR or Organizational Development (Tier 1/2 institute preferred)
Experience
10–18 years in L&D, out of which at least 5 years in  automotive or manufacturing  sector
Proven experience in setting up  MDCs/Assessment Centers  and leading  capability building programs

Skills & Competencies
Strategic thinking with strong execution capability
Expertise in  adult learning principles , instructional design, and digital learning tools
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Analytical mindset with ability to measure and communicate learning impact
Passion for innovation and continuous improvement
