Project Manager - Industrial Automation

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage project execution to achieve targets as per the finalized schedule.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time, with zero defects, and within budget.
Support process owners to ensure smooth project execution.
Maintain strong client relationships through regular updates and clear communication.
Coordinate with the Purchase Department for vendor development and inspection, placing orders efficiently to prevent excess inventory.
Review project execution status with process owners, document challenges, and report to Execution Heads.
Assess resource requirements and coordinate with Execution Heads and HR for necessary actions.
Identify and implement training needs for the project team in collaboration with HR.
Conduct regular performance appraisals for team members and coordinate with HR on development actions.
Address and resolve customer complaints related to warranty and post-warranty issues.
Ensure standardization in logic programming across projects.
Oversee daily work reports submitted by the project team, addressing challenges as needed.

Qualifications:

Engineering graduate (Bachelor’s degree in relevant field).
Minimum 8 years of project management experience, preferably in automation or industrial solutions.

Knowledge &

Skills:

Experience with drives (e.g., Servo, VFDs, Power Flex, Sinamics).
Experience in rubber industry, mixing solutions and material handling solutions will be an added advantage.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, MS Visio) and software.
Familiarity with connectivity software (OPC, Kepware).
Knowledge of Rockwell/Siemens hot redundancy (hot backup) systems, Control Net, Device Net, Profibus, Ethernet, Profinet.
In-depth understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
Vendor management and procurement process experience.
Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to challenges.
