Job Responsibilities:
1. Test Activity Management:
Plan, schedule, and monitor all testing activities to ensure
timely execution and optimal utilization of resources.
2. Customer Coordination & Communication:
Manage test slot bookings, provide status
updates, and handle customer queries, clarifications, and escalations.
3. Program & SRF Management:
Review and approve SRFs, ensure proper sample tracking,
and monitor execution of test programs as per requirements.
4. Internal Coordination:
Coordinate with operations, delivery, finance, and sales teams to
ensure smooth execution and alignment of test programs.
5. Maintenance Management:
Plan and oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance;
coordinate with AMC/service teams to ensure minimal downtime.
6. Quality Management:
Implement and monitor quality objectives, ensure compliance
with standards (ISO/IEC), and maintain overall lab quality systems.
7. Non-Conformance Handling:
Identify, document, and manage non-conforming work;
perform root cause analysis and implement CAPA.
8. Calibration Management:
Plan and ensure timely calibration of all equipment and
instruments; maintain records and traceability.
9. Resource & Shift Management:
Allocate manpower, manage shifts, and ensure
availability of skilled resources for uninterrupted operations.
10. Test Report Management:
Review, verify, and approve test reports ensuring accuracy,
completeness, and compliance with requirements.
11. Technical Oversight:
Provide guidance on test setup, execution, troubleshooting, and
ensure correct data recording and interpretation.
12. Performance & Training:
Identify training needs, evaluate team performance, and ensure
competency development.
13. Data & Documentation Management:
Ensure proper maintenance of records, logbooks,
utilization data, and audit readiness.
14. Safety & Compliance:
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, proper handling of
equipment, and safe working conditions in the lab.
15. Customer Satisfaction & Issue Resolution:
Address customer complaints, minimize
delays, and ensure timely delivery of services.
16. Continuous Improvement:
Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and
enhance quality and productivity.

Qualification &
Skills Required:
1.
Experience:
5–8 years of experience in testing laboratories / quality / environmental
testing, with exposure to lab operations and team management
2. 3. Educational
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field
Leadership & Team Management:
Strong ability to manage teams, allocate resources,
and drive performance
4. Technical Knowledge:
Good understanding of testing standards, lab operations, and
quality systems (ISO/IEC 17025 preferred)
5. Quality & Compliance:
Knowledge of quality assurance principles, calibration
practices, and non-conformance handling
6. Planning & Coordination:
Strong skills in scheduling, program management, and cross
- functional coordination
7. Customer Handling:
Ability to communicate with customers, manage expectations, and
handle escalations
8. Maintenance Awareness:
Basic understanding of equipment maintenance, AMC
coordination, and troubleshooting
9. Computer
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and lab data
management tools
10. Data & Documentation:
Strong capability in report review, documentation control, and
record management
11. Problem-Solving
Skills:
Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective
actions
