Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for Assistant Manager / Manager / Senior Manager – Marketing at the Institute of Directors (IOD), Chennai. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Promoting and building corporate collaborations for events and training programs
Managing end-to-end delivery of corporate business for boardroom community events, conferences, and projects
Driving business development by generating sponsor ships and developing corporate partnerships
Planning and managing short- and long-term meetings, events, and conferences with national and international experts
Handling client relationships and ensuring effective client management
Creating and executing marketing plans for conference amplification
Managing digital marketing initiatives and content strategies to enhance visibility
Qualifications
Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Marketing, HR, or any other relevant discipline
2–7 years of relevant experience in coordinating, planning, and executing events and conferences preferred
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize effectively
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with various organizations, partners, and supporters
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a positive attitude in a multidisciplinary environment
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications, business acumen, and a strong corporate outlook.

Monday to Friday (5 days a week)
10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
