Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer specializing in Fire Protection Systems to join our team on a full-time basis in Chennai. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will focus on the implementation and coordination of fire protection projects, ensuring successful installations and effective stakeholder management.
Qualifications and Skills
A minimum of 4 years of practical experience in fire protection system projects to ensure expertise in handling complex installation tasks.
Proven experience in stakeholder management to effectively communicate project objectives and gather necessary inputs from various parties involved.
Expert knowledge in fire protection systems is a must-have skill (Mandatory skill) to lead projects successfully and ensure all safety protocols are met.
Proficiency in sprinkler system installation with a deep understanding of methods and standards to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
Strong capabilities in hydrant system installation focused on precision and safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Competency in technical documentation for recording essential project data and maintaining comprehensive project records.
Experience in procurement processes to manage the acquisition of necessary materials and equipment for successful project completion.
Hands-on experience with fire alarm systems to identify, troubleshoot, and integrate components efficiently and ensure complete system readiness.
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead and manage project activities for the installation of fire protection systems, including hydrant, sprinkler, and alarm systems.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure all project requirements are met and communication is maintained throughout the project duration.
Conduct assessments and inspections to ensure installations meet prescribed safety standards and project specifications.
Prepare and manage relevant technical documentation, ensuring all project modifications and updates are recorded systematically.
Participate in the procurement process to secure necessary supplies and equipment, working within budgetary constraints.
Supervise and guide installation teams to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to timelines.
Address and resolve technical issues that arise during installation, maintaining system functionality and safety.
Provide technical support and training to clients post-installation to ensure they understand system operations and maintenance.
