Job Summary
As a Tax Senior, Partnerships, you will advise clients on partnership tax issues, conduct research, develop partnership computations, and provide guidance to staff. You will also participate in marketing, business development, process improvement, and team‑building initiatives.
Responsibilities- Develop an in‑depth understanding of technical and practical partnership taxation issues.
- Organize and conduct external CPE training sessions in the area of specialization (at least once per year).
- Train and mentor interns and associates on software tools and partnership tax concepts.
- Identify research needs, frame issues, and report concise analysis; provide research methodology for complex topics.
- Assist in developing, recommending, and implementing efficient methods to maximize client benefits and reduce taxes.
- Collaborate with leadership on solutions, manage risk, and implement firm strategies.
- Manage client expectations and assist with implementation of applicable firm strategies.
- Schedule and manage workloads of interns and associates; review work and provide comments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; major in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics preferred. Master’s in Accountancy or Taxation preferred.
- Experience: Two or more years of relevant tax experience required; specialized partnership experience preferred; private equity experience preferred.
- License/Certification: CPA, Attorney or IRS Enrolled Agent preferred; other professional degrees or certifications applicable to the role preferred.
- Software: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with tax research databases and tax compliance software preferred.

Individual salaries are determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and geography. Salary ranges: $73,500 - $131,250 (National, Maryland, NYC/Long Island/Westchester, Washington DC).
