AVP, Fund Accounting

Our client, a leading global alternative asset manager, is seeking an AVP, Fund Accounting to join its Global Fund Finance team supporting their Private Credit business.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a background in alternative investments, whether through Big 4/public accounting or hands-on fund accounting, who are looking to join one of the industry's premier investment platforms.

• Oversee the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of alternative investment funds.
• Review quarterly NAV packages, financial statements, capital activity, and investor reporting prepared by third-party fund administrators.
• Review management fee, incentive fee, and carried interest calculations.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual audits with external auditors.
• Analyze fund performance, portfolio activity, and financial results for senior leadership.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives across the Fund Finance function.

• CPA
• 6+ years of experience within Big 4/public accounting (Financial Services) or fund accounting supporting alternative investment funds.
• Experience auditing or supporting private equity, private credit, real estate funds, BDCs, or other alternative investment structures.
• Strong understanding of partnership accounting, fund structures, NAV reporting, and financial statements.
• Excellent communication skills with advanced Excel.
