Position: PT Administrative Assistant to the Advancement Office Camden Catholic
Location: Cherry Hill Township

Position Summary

The Advancement Office Administrative Assistant assists in the overall operations of the advancement, including admissions, development, and marketing activities. The position will also assist the President’s office with associated projects and reports directly to the President.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Database Management:
    Maintain the In Memoriam spreadsheet and update the alumni database; perform ongoing data entry and cleanup, including updating emails and adding new constituents.
  • Communications:
    Send condolence cards for alumni death announcements; pull weekly gift lists in RE and prepare donor acknowledgement letters; mail thank you cards; provide event-related assistance for alumni and donor events.
  • Technical Support:
    Manage and support the Ad and Patron Drive for the spring musical, monitoring the inbox, following up with sponsors, and updating smarts.
  • Update hallway bulletin boards and display case regularly.
  • Other duties as assigned by the President.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum six months of experience in customer service or as an administrative assistant.
  • Flexibility and ability to handle constant interruptions; willingness to help other offices as needed.
Skills
  • Strong commitment to Catholic school education.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Willingness to work during school events in the evenings and on weekends.
  • Strong organizational skills; able to work efficiently, juggle tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and achieve goals.
  • Positive interpersonal skills for working with staff, students, parents, alumni, and the community.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage several projects at once.
  • Ability to work autonomously without extensive oversight or direction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • Excellent technological skills and ability to learn and become proficient in different computer programs.
Compensation and Status

12‑month part‑time position; $16–20 per hour.
