RVE (an Ardurra company) is seeking a Construction Manager to join our team in the above locations.
Primary Function:
The ideal candidate will provide construction observation for municipalities, including water supply and distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection and treatment systems, storm sewer systems, and roadway construction. They will have approximately 5 to 15 years of experience in construction management for K‑12 school districts, higher education, municipal, county, and state projects related to vertical construction and site infrastructure work.
Primary Duties:
- Coordinate contract administration services with design professionals and contractors.
- Provide onsite supervision of contractors acting on behalf of the Client and ensure the project runs smoothly.
- Chair the pre‑construction & biweekly job progress meetings and distribute minutes.
- Ensure all project records are complete and maintained.
- Coordinate all required inspections with the contractor and the code office having jurisdiction over the project.
- Document all RFIs, Change Orders, Submittals, and Shop Drawings and ensure proper responses are given to the appropriate party.
- Review applications for payment with the contractor and confer with the design team on progress payment recommendations.
- Provide effective communication with the project team.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections of work as it is being constructed.
- Review safety plans and construction operations to ensure that all work is performed safely and that building occupants are protected.
- Assist with project closeout to ensure the project is turned over to the client.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pursue NICET certifications.
- ACI – Concrete Field Testing certification preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to take initiative and pride in all work assignments.
- Comfortable asking for guidance to expedite deliverables.
- Ability to work on group and individual assignments simultaneously.
- Effective communication, management, and writing skills.
- Proficiency in Word/Excel.
Salary Range: $81,000.00–$97,200.00 annually
