This position is primarily based in our Cherry Hill, NJ office, with some travel required to project sites throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and the Mid-Atlantic region. The Project Manager will oversee multiple commercial construction projects ranging from $1 million to $10 million, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout each project
- Develop, update, and communicate project schedules using Microsoft Project
- Coordinate Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants
- Monitor project budgets, contracts, costs, and profitability
- Manage change orders and project documentation
- Prepare and process owner billings
- Lead project meetings and maintain consistent communication with all stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with company quality and safety standards
- Manage punch lists, closeout documentation, and warranty follow-up
- Partner with company leadership to continuously improve project performance and client satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field (or equivalent construction management experience)
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with Procore, Microsoft Project, Sage Timberline (Sage 300 CRE), and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
- Design-build construction experience
- Experience with negotiated commercial projects
- Strong understanding of scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and contract administration
