Project Manager – Ground-Up Construction

Location: New Jersey (North & Central)

Salary: $120,000–$150,000 + Benefits

A leading General Contractor with over 100 years of experience is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead large ground-up construction projects across New Jersey.

Projects include healthcare, institutional, industrial, commercial, and parking structures
, with values ranging from $100M to over $1B
.

• Manage projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, and cost control.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, architects, and clients.
• Lead project teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.
• Ensure quality, safety, and contract requirements are met.
• Work primarily on-site, providing day-to-day leadership throughout construction.

• Experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects for a General Contractor.
• Experience delivering large-scale projects, ideally $100M+.
• Strong knowledge of structural concrete and structural steel construction.
• Experience managing projects from sitework through completion.
• Background in healthcare, institutional, industrial, commercial, or similar projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work on-site and travel between projects as needed.
