Civil Engineer

We're supporting a leading energy client delivering major projects on the Norwegian Continental Shelf. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project, overseeing civil construction activities and ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

We're looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to oversee and coordinate civil construction activities throughout the project lifecycle. You'll be responsible for monitoring contractor performance, ensuring work is delivered in line with project specifications, schedules, budgets, and HSE requirements.

Working closely with the Construction Manager and multidisciplinary project teams, you'll provide technical input, monitor construction progress, manage contractor performance, coordinate interfaces between disciplines, and ensure all civil works, including industrial buildings and concrete structures, are completed to the required standards. You'll also support project planning, manage non-conformances, review documentation, and contribute to continuous improvement across the project.

We're looking for candidates with:

• Technical education in Civil Engineering, Construction, Concrete Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering civil engineering projects within the energy, industrial, or construction sectors.
• Strong experience with industrial buildings and reinforced concrete structures.
• Experience monitoring and managing civil contractors on large-scale construction projects.
• Leadership experience with the ability to coordinate teams and provide technical guidance.
• Experience following construction schedules, budgets, and project milestones.
• Strong understanding of HSE requirements and quality standards within major projects.
• Experience reviewing construction documentation and Mechanical Completion (MC) documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, with Norwegian language skills preferred.
