Project Architect

Reports To:

Principal In Charge / Senior Management

• Experience:
  
  Five to Eight years of experience
• Licensure:
  Certification as licensed professional architect required
• Education:
  
  Professional degree in architecture
• Technology:
  Revit / Sketch Up / AutoCAD / Adobe Suite / MS Office
• Mentorship:
  Will be responsible for mentoring the following, but is not limited to; less experienced staff

• Duties:
  All duties assigned to Senior and Project Coordinators, designers, and technicians
• Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client’s needs.
• Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, design, and coordination of large complex projects.
• Independently apply advanced architectural concepts and designs.
• Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures.
• May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects.
• Travel to and visit project construction sites to observe construction progress and compose field reports. (Site visits may require travel involving both day trips and some overnight stays to out-of-town project locations)
