Salary Range: $43.00 To $43.00 Hourly

We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Music Teacher to join our early childhood team. The Early Childhood Center music teacher is responsible for teaching student's music theory, performance and appreciation while fostering a creative and engaging learning environment.

Summary:

• Lesson Planning:
  Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives, focusing on music theory, practical skills and performance techniques.
• Teaching:
  Instruct students in various aspects of music, including playing instruments, singing, and understanding music theory. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Assessment:
  Evaluate student progress through assessments, providing feedback and maintain student records of performance.
• Performance Preparation:
  Organize and direct school concerts, recitals and other musical performances, helping students prepare for these events.
• Classroom Management:
  Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work with other teachers and staff to develop music curriculum and coordinate activates, fostering a school community.

Required

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in music education or related field
• Previous teaching experience particularly in music
• Experience performing music is a plus
