Qualifications:
NJ Elementary Teacher Certificate with MS Math (Grades 5-8) and/or K-12 Teacher of Mathematics Certificate. In-depth knowledge of NJ SLS for Mathematics. Demonstrated success working with middle school students in Mathematics. Ability to identify individual student's needs to provide support using a variety of instructional strategies for at-risk students. This position is for the 2026-27 school year only and is dependent on the receipt of Title I Funding.
All alternate route candidates ("Certificate of Eligibility") must show completion of 50 hours of pre-service training through a DOE approved CE educator program prior to being interviewed for a position. The certificate of completion must be uploaded into the Appli Track portal in order for alternate route candidates to be considered.
