Qualifications- NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities AND NJ Elementary School Teacher K-5 Certification
- OR
- NJ Teacher of the Handicapped Certification
- Prior experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of and experience with the NJ Student Learning Standards
- Experience writing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Proven ability to promote student success, provide effective supports, and respond to identified student needs
- Extra duties as assigned by the building Principal and Supervisor of Special Education
- Salary: $60,653 - $115,891 per year. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications
- Full-time staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription, and Dental Benefits.
- Sick, Personal and Bereavement Days are included.
- All alternate route candidates ("Certificate of Eligibility) must show completion of 50 hours of pre-service training through a DOE approved CE educator program prior to being interviewed for a position. The certificate of completion must be uploaded into the Appli Track portal in order for alternate route candidates to be considered.
