Program Coordinator - Early Childhood Leadership

Children of America (COA) is looking for a Program Coordinator to join our school leadership team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced early childhood professional who is ready to take on additional responsibility, support a team, and grow their career in early childhood education.

If you're a Lead Teacher or experienced childcare professional who is ready to grow into leadership, this could be the opportunity for you.

What You'll Do
  • Support the School Director and Assistant Director with daily school operations
  • Provide classroom support and help maintain a positive, well-managed learning environment
  • Step into classrooms and provide coverage when needed
  • Support teachers with classroom management, programming, and daily activities
  • Help develop and implement age-appropriate activities and programs
  • Maintain accurate classroom, child, and program records
  • Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Help ensure the school meets company, state licensing, and accreditation requirements
  • Assist with school activities and events, including field trips and parent conferences
  • Monitor classroom supplies and materials to ensure teachers have what they need
  • Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Help address day-to-day challenges and keep the school running smoothly
  • Serve as the third level of management when the School Director and Assistant Director are unavailable

What You'll Need
  • Must meet applicable state and COA age requirements
  • Must meet state requirements for Director Designee, Group Leader, or Lead Teacher, as applicable
  • Must maintain required state in-service training
  • Previous childcare experience required
  • Management or leadership experience preferred
  • CDA credential completed or in progress, or a degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field

Compensation

$20.00-$23.00 per hour

Final compensation will be based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This role may also be eligible for performance-based incentives or other benefits.
