Engineering Manager

Established Search are partnered with a global manufacturer within the beauty and personal care sector, who are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a high performing manufacturing operation.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for an engineer who enjoys being close to the operation, leading from the front and turning engineering strategy into measurable improvements across reliability, productivity, safety, quality and cost.

You will have the opportunity to influence major capital projects, equipment performance, continuous improvement and new product introductions whilst developing and mentoring a talented technical team.

As the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:

• Leading engineering, maintenance and facilities teams, setting priorities and developing a high performance culture.
• Managing engineering and capital projects from initial concept through installation, validation, commissioning and handover.
• Driving improvements in equipment reliability, OEE, uptime, productivity and operating costs through Lean Manufacturing and reliability-centred strategies.
• Developing and executing the site's Cap Ex strategy, including budgeting, prioritisation and delivery of major equipment and infrastructure investments.
• Leading equipment installation, validation, process improvements and engineering support for new product introductions.

You will ideally bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years experience across Engineering and/or Maintenance.
• Experience leading teams.
• A track record of delivering capital projects and engineering improvements from concept through to implementation.
