Financial Advisor

Horace Mann seeks a Financial Advisor to serve K-12 educators and school employees with tailored insurance and retirement solutions. In this role, you will assess clients' financial needs, develop customized plans for protection and long term savings, and recommend auto, home, life, supplemental insurance and retirement products. You will conduct educational workshops, build relationships with school districts, and provide ongoing portfolio reviews.

Responsibilities

• Assess K-12 educators' financial goals, risks, and protection needs
• Develop customized financial, insurance, and retirement plans
• Recommend auto, home, life, supplemental insurance, and retirement products
• Conduct on-site and virtual financial education workshops for school staff
• Build and maintain relationships with educators and school districts
• Monitor client portfolios and conduct regular reviews and plan adjustments
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
• Document client interactions and maintain accurate records in CRM systems
• Collaborate with internal teams to address client service needs
• Participate in community and school events to expand outreach
