As a Case Manager, you will work within our Involuntary Outpatient Commitment program located in Cherry Hill, Camden County. The IOC program has prescribed, community-based, mental health services under court order to individuals in Camden County with a serious mental illness and frequent users of inpatient services and/or Crisis Screening Services.
Schedule: Full-time;
Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm;
Half hour unpaid lunch
The applicant must be able to provide bio-psycho-social aspects of major mental illnesses; community resources and how to access them; evaluating and coping with family stress; problem solving and conflict resolution; ability to relate to clients, families and peers;
Creativity and ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Providing quality clinical care through evidence-based practices with adults
- Client’s compliance with treatment as indicated by follow-ups with clients at home and with community providers.
- Reporting client’s non-compliance to the court.
- Professional demeanor, clear documentation, ability to operate under stress
- Conduct assessments, commitment process
- Each individual in the IOC program will be offered the opportunity, and encouraged, to complete a Wellness and Recovery Action Plan [WRAP], a tool designed to help people develop skills, knowledge and attitudes needed in order to assume a more active role in maintaining mental health recovery.

Qualifications:
Master's Degree in mental health field required;
Minimum one (1) year experience working case management within the mental health and/or court system;
Peer preferred;
Knowledge and experience working with mentally ill in foreseeable psychiatric distress;
Knowledge of the mental health field in NJ and commitment to the principles of recovery;
- Valid Driver's License in good standing required.
