Sagapixel is a healthcare-focused digital marketing agency working with medical practices and healthcare brands across the U.S. (If you’re curious how we think about SEO, our website and You Tube channel are a good place to start.)
SEO is a core pillar of what we do. We invest heavily in developing SEO talent, promote from within, and are looking for someone early in their career who wants to grow here long term.
Our approach to SEO is intentionally impact-focused, prioritizing thoughtful changes that improve visibility, trust, and performance over busywork or rigid formulas. Because of this, we value curiosity and judgment over years of experience elsewhere.
This role is not for someone looking to “try SEO.” It’s for someone who wants to commit to learning the craft and growing with the company.
What You’ll Actually Be DoingAs a Junior SEO Associate, you’ll support live client accounts from day one.
You’ll learn how to:
- Support optimization of service pages for local intent searches
- Assist with building and improving SEO page structure using our internal frameworks
- Apply on-page SEO best practices (titles, headings, internal links, content hierarchy)
- Learn how we decide what belongs on a page—and what doesn’t
- Help monitor rankings and performance
- Assist senior team members with audits, reviews, and quality checks
- Understand how SEO connects to trust, credibility, and conversion, not just rankings
- Learn how to explain and surface the value behind SEO changes, collaborating with Account Managers to ensure work aligns with client goals
We don’t expect you to be an expert. We do expect you to be serious about becoming one.
You’re likely a good fit if:
- You’re already learning SEO on your own (blogs, You Tube, testing sites, courses, etc.)
- You care about why the work matters, not just completing tasks, and can clearly communicate observations and insights to teammates.
- You enjoy structure, frameworks, and improving systems
- You can follow detailed instructions and ask smart questions
- You’re organized and comfortable tracking your time daily
- You want a long-term career path, not a short-term job
- Has dabbled in SEO and wants real-world experience
- Is early in their career but hungry to learn and grow within an agency.
- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Time tracking is required (minimum ~6.5 hours/day of client work)
- You’ll receive feedback often and are expected to apply it
