A growing global organization is seeking a Network Security Engineer to join its infrastructure and security team in Somerset, NJ. This permanent opportunity offers a hybrid schedule and focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure network environments across on‑premises, hybrid, and cloud architectures. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with Forti Gate firewalls, F5 BIG‑IP, SD‑WAN, routing protocols, and enterprise network security technologies.

Contract Duration: Permanent/Full-Time
Required Skills & Experience- 5+ years of professional network engineering or network security experience
- 5+ years administering and maintaining Forti Gate, Forti Manager, and Forti Analyzer
- Strong experience with next-generation firewall technologies
- Experience supporting and maintaining F5 BIG‑IP environments
- Advanced knowledge of SD‑WAN and enterprise network architecture
- Experience with routing protocols including OSPF, eBGP, and iBGP
- Incident response experience related to network analysis and security events
- Experience implementing and maintaining secure network configurations and hardening standards
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally
- Experience with cloud networking and security in Azure and GCP
- Cisco ISE, Meraki, and wireless networking experience
- ZTNA architecture and threat mitigation expertise
- Experience with IDS, IPS, DNS security, and application security technologies
- Experience with NAC solutions such as Aruba Clear Pass, Fore Scout, or Cisco
- Experience with PKI, HSM, authentication platforms, and SSL decryption technologies
- Experience with SIEM and log aggregation tools including Splunk, QRadar, Arc Sight, or similar platforms
- Healthcare or regulated industry experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Networking, Cybersecurity, or related field
