Responsibilities
- Oversee a varied portfolio of research and data science initiatives supporting Army customers
- Responsible for end-to-end program execution, including managing budget, deliverables, subcontractors, and geographically distributed teams
- Provide strong operational leadership, ensure effective staffing, clear scope definition, and consistent delivery
- Oversee the delivery of data engineering, data science, research, and enterprise platform IT operations
- Partner with customers to support operating an efficient and effective analytical or AI platform
- Drive performance, shape strategy, identify innovative solutions, and support the growth and sustainment of the program
- Lead the Agile development of a project roadmap, establish project milestones, and implement metrics to track progress
- 8+ years of experience planning, directing, coordinating, and managing programs such as data platforms, engineering, data science, enterprise analytics, and solution architecture
- 8+ years of experience building and sustaining partnerships with government organizations and senior government executives
- 8+ years of experience with leadership, including leading dispersed cross-functional teams in the areas of engineering, architecture, analytics, and AI / ML, including subcontractors
- 8+ years of experience leading the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data platforms and analytics
- Experience leveraging client relationships, market knowledge, and government acquisition best practices
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and their application within complex research and data science environments
- Ability to manage large programs and interface with senior DoD clients
- Ability to recruit, hire, and strategically staff high performing teams aligned to mission needs and evolving project demands
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
