IT Support Technician

IT support at Hotels at Home is responsible for providing technology services and support for all Hotels at Home employees globally. Our goal is to enable employee productivity through collaboration and innovation to help our employees provide our customers with a home that they love! We’re looking to grow our IT team by bringing on a talented individual who wants exposure to our broad desktop computing tech stack and complex technical infrastructure.
The IT Support Technician will provide onsite and remote technical assistance to users. You will be considered the company’s first point of contact for IT issues, and you will troubleshoot Level 1 technical problems.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot and attempt to resolve hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Respond in a timely manner to incoming requests related to IT.
- Escalate issues and collaborate with Level 2 support, if necessary.
- Onboard and offboard users while completing proper documentation.
- Set up of desk equipment.
- Maintain equipment and act as support if any system goes down.
- Create and deploy Windows images for desktops and laptops.
- Ensure that all equipment is properly updated, tracked, and documented.
- Assist higher level members of the IT team with projects.
- Work on a rotating on-call schedule with the rest of the team.
What You’ll Bring
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High school degree, GED equivalent, or practical experience.
- More than 1 year of relevant working IT experience.
