BI Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise BI Engineer to help support and modernize a large-scale Business Intelligence environment.

This role will play an important part in the organization's transition toward Snowflake and modernization of its reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Power BI, SQL, enterprise BI platforms, and data integration
, along with the ability to work directly with business and technical teams.

This is a hands-on role focused on understanding the current environment, identifying what needs to change, solving technical issues, and helping implement and deploy the new reporting solution.

• Support the implementation and modernization of enterprise Business Intelligence solutions

• Work with Power BI to develop, integrate, troubleshoot, and deploy reporting capabilities

• Analyze existing BI environments and identify changes needed to support business requirements

• Investigate and resolve reporting, data, query, and integration issues

• Use SQL to validate data, investigate discrepancies, and troubleshoot reporting problems

• Support the transition to Snowflake as part of the organization's data platform modernization

• Integrate BI and reporting tools with enterprise data sources

• Work with AWS cloud environments and services

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Support testing, validation, deployment, and production implementation

• Help establish consistent reporting, modeling, and query practices

• Document technical solutions, processes, and troubleshooting procedures

• Collaborate with data engineering, application, and business teams

• Strong experience with Power BI

• Strong SQL skills

• Hands-on experience implementing and deploying BI/reporting solutions

• Experience integrating BI platforms with enterprise data sources

• Experience with

• Experience with
  AWS

• Understanding of data modeling and reporting architecture

• Experience troubleshooting complex BI and data issues

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to take ownership of issues from investigation through implementation

• Looker experience

• Cognos experience

• Experience migrating or modernizing enterprise BI platforms

• Experience with data warehouse modernization

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise reporting environments
