Description

We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and encourage applications from candidates of all backgrounds. We are seeking a talented and motivated Supply Chain Planner. This position combines the conventional roles of Supply Chain management and Purchasing. This position is responsible for Supply Planning, S&OP data collection and inputs, forecast review, inventory management, supply chain project management, supply chain related regulatory compliance and import logistics support.

The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, ability to think strategically, and excellent problem solving, communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the demand process:
  • Responsible for the process to coordinate customer/product forecast with Sales then develop inventory targets and supply plan to ensure that the forecast is fulfilled in a timely and cost‑effective manner. Assess the accuracy of the forecast by customer, product, and SKU. Track appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement.
  • Manage the supply process:
  • Develop the master supply plan using the business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined inventory targets. Responsible to create stock replenishments and toll plan using the master plan.
  • Play a role in the S&OP process driving the supply planning review meetings.
  • Develop and identify metrics, tools, resources, and roadmaps to support high customer service.
  • The position will coordinate activities with the Sales and Customer Service teams.
  • Prepares presentations, status reports and briefs management on issues or problems.
  • Create analytical reporting tools that match the needs of operational business processes.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business administration, preferred with Supply Chain Management focus or specialized degree in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of supply chain role required.
  • Sense of urgency and pride in quality of output.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact at various levels within an organization.
  • Ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficient EXCEL, WORD, SAP and MPS operating environment.
  • Skills and knowledge (Power

    BI, Pivot Tables, Dashboards etc.).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP preferred.
  • Good presentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working 1+ years in FDA compliant manufacturing environment – preferably in Materials Management, Planning, Procurement or Demand Planning.
