Air Export Coordinator

Altius Talent is partnering with a well-established international freight forwarder to find an experienced Air Export Operator to join their growing team. Our client offers a collaborative environment with strong opportunities for career growth in global logistics.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Air Export Operator to manage the end-to-end air export process, from booking through documentation and delivery confirmation. The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience with air freight operations, strong carrier relationships, and a solid understanding of export compliance requirements.

• Manage air export shipments from booking through final delivery, ensuring accuracy and timeliness at every stage
• Prepare and process export documentation, including AWBs, commercial invoices, and export declarations (AES filings)
• Coordinate with airlines, overseas agents, and trucking partners to secure space and confirm routings
• Track shipments and proactively communicate status updates to clients and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with IATA regulations, customs requirements, and company SOPs
• Resolve service issues and shipment discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate records within the company's operating system (e.g., Cargo Wise)
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with airlines, agents, and clients

• 2+ years of experience in air export operations within freight forwarding or logistics
• Working knowledge of AES, AWB processing, and export documentation requirements
• Familiarity with Cargo Wise or similar freight forwarding software preferred
• Strong understanding of IATA regulations and export compliance
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
