- - Responsibilities:
Load and unload high-pressure and liquid cylinders on/off trucks in compliance with regulations;
Inspect cylinders prior to filling to ensure safety per guidelines;
Identify contents by reading cylinder labels and color-coding of tanks;
Operate forklift, pallet jack, and chain hoist; secure cylinders during transfer;
Inspect returned cylinders for defects and maintain equipment and cylinder integrity; prepare cylinders for filling;
Move cylinders to designated work areas using safe methods; segregate out-of-test or defective cylinders;
Remove old labels and clean cylinders; assist with general warehouse duties as needed
