Program

Description:

The Filter Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing filtration products and related components according to company specifications and quality standards. This role supports production operations by ensuring products are built accurately, efficiently, and safely while maintaining organized workflow and meeting production schedules.

Essential Job Functions:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assemble filtration units, housings, components, and related equipment according to work instructions, drawings, and production specifications

Read and interpret assembly instructions, cut sheets, blueprints, and production documentation

Verify parts, dimensions, materials, and hardware prior to assembly

Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently

Perform quality inspections and functional checks to ensure completed products meet company standards and customer specifications

Identify, document, and report defects, material shortages, or production issues

Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations and production areas

Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing completed assemblies for shipment

Support inventory organization, material handling, and production staging activities as needed

Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of assembly equipment and tools

Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to support workflow efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives

Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing policies

Perform other related duties as assigned

Education and/or

Experience:

Education Experience in manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or production environments preferred

Experience

Ability to accurately read tape measures and verify dimensions

Advanced

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Advanced

Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and production documentation

Advanced

Strong organizational and time management skills

Advanced

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Advanced

Ability to lift materials and work in a manufacturing or production setting

Advanced

Experience in manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or production environments preferred

Other Abilities:

Experience with filtration systems or industrial equipment assembly

Familiarity with pneumatic, mechanical, or fluid handling components

Basic troubleshooting and equipment maintenance experience

Understanding of quality control procedures and manufacturing processes

Forklift or warehouse experience is a plus Experience working with production schedules and assembly workflow systems
